Day 7: Sunday is a day for rest and relaxation

Spotted this lovely bird posted in the rain outside my apartment window this morning.  Even with the rain and cold weather in “summertime”, Paris is still beautiful.

The club held an “International Night” in which international students received free entry before midnight.  The theme was conveniently American–just in time for the Fourth of July! Had a fun night out with the girls, getting to explore the nightlife of Paris.

sidenote: everything in Pairs is so expensive! It was 8 euros for a tiny cocktail, I won’t be drinking at any clubs here.

Day 2: Legal and Liberated

My first legal drink while in Paris.  Eating curbside and people-watching for the night.  I could get used to this.

 

Day 1: Gelato Flower, anyone?

Today I learned that a smile is a weapon of seduction and is only to be used when in hot pursuit of a potential lover.  It’s going to be hard breaking the habit of greeting everyone with a smile…
