Blessed, to say the least.

Coming to Paris only two days ago, I have already fallen in love with this beautiful city.  The culture, the architecture, atmosphere–everything is so awe-inspiring…at the end of my time here I doubt I’ll want to leave.  The culture barrier is a definite struggle and the hospitality (or lack thereof) is disheartening.  With much effort, I have picked up on the necessary phrases to get by, but I wish I had come to France with the ability to speak the language.  I guess my trip will be truly an eye-opening experience.  I can’t complain…a summer in Paris is such a treat and I am so thankful to be here.  Let’s see where this trip takes me…
